[Canvases] - Candle

One of Five

Look now, this one’s name is Candle
And she falls like the ground is heaven

She grips a spear that she’s named Sulfur
Named after blue fire and a dead brother

[Prompts] - Daddy She Said Daddy

"Scary poem, all in couplets, rhyming or not." - Ted Wilkowski

Daddy She Said Daddy

Mommy stopped moving after Daddy threw her on the floor
Daddy kept walking away after locking up the door

Daddy she yelled Daddy please hurry open up the door
I heard Mommy’s head crack when she fell down on the floor

[Canvases] - Salt

I. Canticum Constructum

here the open and the enigma

She walked within candescent Nautilus,
Rose the spiral ascending, ere a mirror
From cold sea the sunfire passing made.
Her gaze held narrow unfaltered Eastward,
A one that could but hunger shine as light
Would like unto lithify fragile flesh
And from her eyes a lighthouse beacon flare
That would draw him as though the sun still slept.

and here the villain and the clue

[Uncategorized] - Hunting Grounds

The greatest and only revenge that I can wreak upon you
Is to offer you as fresh meat
To stave off the wolves

They will come from the hollows and caves of my cerebrum
And most days I'll lose them in the folds
Wriggling my way through the maze
Until I reach the skull bone cliffs
And sleep with my back to them

[Uncategorized] - 1 Corinthians 6:12

Saul of Tarsus was choking on non-permittive space -
Stop me if you've heard this one before
Bring the face of God into something and
- If it doesn't collapse into a zero point starburst,
Ignition to nova in simultaneous motion -
It'll burn away all the flotsam in the vacuum
All the wreckage of dead bodies in the black sea

[Canvases] - Silver and Gold

1.

There was a boy named Silver
There was a girl named Gold
And they each bore up a quiver
And they each bore up a bow
They went to kill the sacred hart
That they hunted in a dream
But they found first an aged bard
Skipping stones across a Stream
His lute was old and tired
His eyes were clear and bright
His arm was taut and wired
His pebbles sang in flight
They stopped to ask if he would tell
Where they could find their prey
They watched him as his smile fell
And he knelt begging as to pray
